Perfect Sunday Brunch at Local Mexican Eatery

Perfect Sunday Brunch. Shrimp Taco, Avocado Salad and Bloody Mary. We dined at the Hertel Avenue location. Other locations include both Transit Road and Ellicott Street.

Couldn’t think of a better way to start Superbowl Sunday and wear our green attire  (go Eagles!) than enjoying an award winning Bloody Mary and devouring a delicious Mexican feast.

Off the brunch menu, we enjoyed an Avocado Salad that was delicious and filling. Avocado with lime was the mainstay and then piled with goat cheese, salsa fresca, charo beans, lettuce chiffonade and topped with a cilantro vinaigrette. Unbelievably priced at $4.

From the lunch menu we ordered a Baja Shrimp Taco whose foundation was an organic house made tortilla. Layered on top was spiced shrimp, avocado, onion, salsa, cabbage, cilantro and radishes. A huge portion that was scrumptious and delightful to eat and priced at $5. Simply wonderful.

Where did we eat? Why, Deep South Taco, of course! Enjoy the brunch on both Saturday and Sunday. And make sure and enjoy the Bloody Mary or Mimosa that perfectly accompany the scrumptious Mexican culinary delights.
